Having secured 7 points from a possible 9 in his first three games, Keane has made a strong first impression on Black Cats fans, and also his previously confidence-ridden players. And with the addition of several quality players, in only a short space of time Sunderland have turned from relegation fodder to serious Championship contenders.
This new found confidence in Sunderland’s chances this term are reflected in the poll results, however 22% of you still feel Keane will simply stabilise the club with his arrival, putting it in good stead for a firm challenge next season.
