The end of the season means only one thing – no not transfer speculation – but pouring over the statistics from the season just passed to find as much content as you can before the endless transfer invention truly begins.
Doesn’t matter who you are, I’m no different, you have to find something to do and in short – here’s the latest thing I found to do.
What did Sunderland fans pay for every home goal scored during the 2015/16 campaign.
Call it value for money, or call it a complete rip off, I guess it depends on what your final price was and how many goals you actually had the pleasure of seeing on home soil.
With a nod to Talksport for doing the legwork, here’s the final table for the 20 sides in the Premier League last season and it’s ranked in order of the modal cost, or most common cost, of season tickets from the most expensive to the cheapest compared to the number of goals scored by the home side at their ground – and how got the most value for money on that basis.

Not the table order you would probably expect really, although again, it’s another Premier League table Aston Villa have decided to prop up – the team that just keeps on giving, well to other teams anyway.
