Lazio Show Interest In Sunderland’s Italian Winger

Lazio have emerged as another Italian club who are chasing the signature of Sunderland flop Emanuele Giaccherini.

The winger spent last season on loan in the Serie A with Bologna and the Black Cats are happy that he did well there and is now attracting interest as they look to get at least half of the £6 million that they paid for him back.

Bologna were reported as being a club who wanted to take him back to Italy but his wages have proved to be a stumbling block for the club.

Torino then became allerted to his availability and have held talks with the powers that be at the Stadium of Light.

It is also known that Sampdoria are monitoring the situation with interest, but Lazio feel that with Giaccherini, they atand a chance of pushing for a Champions League place next season.
