In a tightly fought contest, 52% of you felt that international breaks were a ‘nuisance’, while 43% voted that they were welcome breaks from the toil and stress of Sunderland games.

The voting could perhaps be attributed to England, Wales and the Republic of Ireland not doing so well of late, the three international teams of main concern to Sunderland supporters.
