According to a report in the Daily Mail, Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce is keen to bring West Ham striker Diafra Sakho to the Stadium of Light.
A striker is at the top of Big Sam’s shopping list and it is thought that the £10 million that Sunderland are willing to offer will be enough for the Hammers to say Yes.
The Black Cats need support for Jermain Defoe who was relied upon a bit too much last season, he could do with a decent partner and seems to fit Sam’s needs.
The paper goes on to say that Hammer’s chairman David Gold would let the 26-year-old go and use the £10 million to help fund a new recruit for their frontline.
