Young Sunderland ‘keeper Ben Wilson has today joined Gateshead on a month’s loan.
The 19 year-old academy graduate will link up with Ian Bogie’s Blue Square Premier outfit until February 4.
Wilson had previously been on loan at Harrogate Town this season where he made one appearance before returning to the club injured.
Wilson will go straight into the ‘Heed’s matchday squad for their clash with Stockport County with Paul Farnham injured and another local loanee Jak Alnwick returning to Newcastle.
