Young Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has gone out to join up with League One club Bradford City where he will remain on a season long loan spell.

The 20 year old has not yet made it into the Black Cats first team, but knows the drill when it comes to being out on loan as he was with Carlisle United for 18 games last season. Unfortunately, he could not do enough to prevent them from being relegated to the basement league at the end of the season.

Pickford has also spent time on loan at Darlington, Alfreton Town and Burton Albion, he is also a former England Under 19 international.

The keeper could make his Bradford debut on Tuesday when the Bantams take on Farsley in a pre-season friendly.
