According to reports this afternoon, Danny Welbeck of Manchester United could be on his way to Sunderland in the summer should the Black Cats escape the drop.
Not sure that there is any mileage in this one, not even sure that United would be looking to offload the player and even if they did then Tottenham, Everton and Napoli would all be ahead of the queue.
But according to [football] direct news, the funds are being found to bring him to the Stadium of Light and it’s happening.
We’re not so sure, you make your own minds up.
