David Vaughan looks like he will be moving away from the Stadium of Light before the weekend on a loan spell.

There is said to be a host of Championship sides who are hoping to get the midfielder in their sides for the weekend games.

The Welsh international’s time at Sunderland is now running out, he was tipped for a move away to Crystal Palace in the summer but that never came about and just as he spoke about hoping to get back into the Black Cats first team, he was not even in the squad for the game against Newcastle on Sunday.

According to Sky Sports, there are Forest QPR, Leicester and Derby all looking to acquire the 30 year olds services. Blackpool are also interested in taking Vaughan back to Bloomfield Road.
