David Moyes has been on the shortlist?

After hearing reassuring reports that Sunderland are going to take their time in targeting their next manager, there are rumours that the powers that be at the Stadium of Light have been sounding out David Moyes.

That doesn’t inspire me if the story was true, but it’s in the Daily Mirror so it must be right.

Sunderland are manager-less after losing the services of Dick Advocaat who for want of better words, got fed up with the situation at the club and arsed it with his reputation intact.

The Mirror reports that Sunderland have been in touch with Moyes with a view to seeing him installed as the Black Cats next manager, but Moyes has said no.

Moyes is currently working on getting and keeping Sociedad into and staying in the top half of La Liga, meaning that any English club looking to bring in the man who had huge success at Old Trafford back to Blighty would have to hang fire.

Other potential managers shortlisted are Sam Allardyce, Sean Dyche, and Nigel Pearson.

This would make me mad, if they ever appointed this tool I’d be gone to watch non-league football. Sooner have Saggychops Redknap
