Sunderland Travel To Burnley.

Sunderland travel to Turf Moor this weekend to face Burnley and both teams could be altered.

Burnley striker Danny Ings will definitely miss the game, he picked up a hamstring injury last time out when the Clarets drew against Crystal Palace.

And with Sam Vokes also being out of action with a knee problem, Marvin Sordell and Ashley Barnes will be considered.

Another out is Matt Taylor who has an Achilles problem that won’t go away but loan duo Nathan Chalobah and Michael Keane are both hoping for their first starts.

Burnley provisional squad: Heaton, Trippier, Lafferty, Ward, Duff, Shackell, Mee, Wallace, Marney, Kightly, Cisak, Jones, Sordell, Reid, Jutkiewicz, Chalobah, Boyd, Gilks, Keane, Long, Barnes, Arfield.

Gus Poyet has also got decisions to make ahead of the trip to Lancashire, although he has no serious injuries to cope with, he may need to change a few things in an attempt to get the all important first win of the season under his belt.

Defender Billy Jones and midfielders Will Buckley and Jordi Gomez are all looking to be given starts, but it does seem certain that Connor Wickham will be heading the attack.
