Rodriguez Move Bites The Dust.

Sunderland do not look like signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Cristian Rodriguez after all.

The Black Cats manager Gus Poyet had been hopeful of signing the Uruguay international and reports over the last couple of days suggested that a deal was a good as done and the 28 year old would soon sign.

But according to the Chronicle, they say that noises coming out of Spain claim that if Rodriguez does make a move it won be to Wearside.

Poyet is now looking elsewhere.
