Real Betis are looking to sign Sunderland midfielder Alfred N’Diaye on a permanent basis after having him on loan for a short space of time.

The 23-year-old joined Betis in a loan move last month and after playing just one game, the club have decided that they wouldn’t mind keeping him, according to Estadio Deportivo.

N’Diaye was praised by manager Gabriel Calderon during a press conference.

The only thing that seems to be a problem is money with the club looking like being relegated from the top flight at the end of the season.
