The poll is who you ‘think’ will replace McCarthy, and not neccessarily who you ‘want’ Murray to appoint. Thus the reason Mourinho is not on the list!
Names that may well be considered ‘other’ include Watford’s Adrian Boothroyd, Burton’s Nigel Clough – son of Sunderland legend Brian, aswell as ex-players Stefan Schwarz and Darius Kubicki. These are all viable candidates for the job, but as stated, only the top early favourites are specifically listed.
