Should Gordon Strachan end up leaving his Scotland manager post, then reports have it that David Moyes will be the next one to take over the job.

Only a short time after losing Sam Allardyce who left to take the England job, it seems that Moyes could well be heading up north to take the Scotland job, should it become available.

Strachan is not pleasing the Scottish following after a poor start to their 2018 World Cup qualification quest. A heavy defeat to England at Wembley on Friday did not help matters and now they sit at the bottom of group F with just one win and four points on the board.

ESPN claim that Moyes is willing to try his hand at international football and top brass in the Scottish FA are big admirers of the former Everton manager who is currently having a difficult time at Sunderland.

Things will become clearer over the next month with a decision coming on Strachan’s future within that timescale.
