Billy Knott has signed for Bradford City, his deal with the club will commence when his contract with Sunderland expires on July 1.
Phil Parkinson stepped in for the player after being released by the Black Cats although there was speculation at one time that he may have gone to Port Vale.
The midfielder had a successful loan spell with the Potteries outfit last season and they did express an interest in signing the former u16 and u21 England international, but Bradford have not let the grass grow under their feet.
