It looks like former Sunderland keeper Craig Gordon will soon be back in action again after he revealed that there are a couple of clubs interested in signing him.

The 31-year-old left the Black Cats in 2012, but has been unsuccessful in finding a new club due to a reoccurring knee injury.

But now he is confident of returning to the game now that he has recovered from his injury and says that he has two or three offers on the table.

Speaking to Sky Sports he said: ‘I’ve had two or three offers already which have been quite interesting – but it’s just about picking the right one, and then I can move on from there.

‘You know yourself when you’re ready and you’re able to play, and I feel just as good now, if not better, than I ever have done in my career.

‘Fitness-wise I’m right there, it’s just a case of getting the matches and proving it to everyone else as well.’
