Sunderland defender Billy Jones is looking forward to Saturday’s clash with champions Leicester City and believes that the Black Cats can get back to winning ways.

Jones believes that after Sunderland managed to win two games on the bounce, they shouldn’t be too downhearted coming away from a defeat at Anfield.

In fact, Jones claims that confidence is still sky high in the camp and all the squad are looking forward to hopefully building on their first home win against Hull City before the last international break.

And with Leicester struggling to find the form that won them the title last season, there should be every reason that Sunderland should feel confident.

Jones told the Sunderland’s official website: ‘”I think we showed that team ethic [at Anfield] that`s got us some good results in the last few games.

“We will carry on working hard, keep backing each other up and the quality we pose going forward will win many more games, so hopefully, that starts this weekend against Leicester.

“We had a poor start to the season but we got the first win and then followed it up with our first home win.

“We want to make the Stadium of Light a fortress so now we`ve got that first home win we want to build on it.’
