Rumours have it that Jermain Defoe is a wanted man on London
There is a snippet in one of London’s local newspapers today that says West Ham are interested in acquiring the services of Jermain Defoe.
According to the Brentwood Gazette, Slaven Bilic’s side needs a striker and Defoe is a player they think that they can get as he isn’t too keen on where Sunderland are in the Premiership table.
Defoe was plucked out of the Canadian league where he was playing with Toronto who seemed only too happy to accept Jozy Altidore as a swap.
Defoe has not been on Sam Allardyce’s priority list since he took over as manager of Sunderland.
