Celtic have completed the signing of former Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

The 31-year-old has his first deal in professional football for two years following his release from the Stadium of Light in 2012.

Gordon suffered arm and knee injuries during his time with the Black Cats, he missed three months with a knee complaint and then another three months was spent on the sidelines with a broken arm so he lost his place as number one to Simon Mignolet.

Further knee problems then spelt the end for Gordon at the club that spent a record £9 million for his services.

Gordon has signed a two year contract with the option of a third season.
