David Moyes comes up against one of his old clubs tonight as Everton come to Wearside looking like they could do something this season after having a good start.

Moyes will be looking for his side to get their first win under their belts and grab a much needed three point boost as nobody involved with the club wants to see another relegation battle after the last couple of seasons.

Toffee’s boss Ronald Koeman will no doubt be hoping that his side can carry on their good start to the season with games coming along that he says are very winnable for his side and having the chance to move up the table to joint 2nd with a win, you would think they would come to tonight’s game in an unstoppable mood.

But stranger things have happened and they just might get a shock.

Vital Quotes:

David Moyes – “We had a great team at Goodison but we were missing a center-forward. We couldn`t get the finances to buy one in my last couple of years. I might be exaggerating but I think, with a top center-forward, we would have been close to winning the league; we were that good.”

Sunderland Team News:

Sunderland go into this game without Jordan Pickford who is still injured.

There could well be game time for new signings Mika Domingues, Didier Ndong and Jason Denayer. Jan Kirchhoff and John O’Shea are also back in contention for a place.

Victor Anichebe will sit this game out.

Player to watch: JERMAINE DEFOE

Sunderland’s best chance of goals so far this season, he is determined to finish with a good total.

Everton Team News:

Everton will be without James McCarthy, but Seamus Coleman is fit again.

New signing Enner Valencia could also play.

Player to watch: ROMELU LUKAKU

If he can find his best form once again, the Sunderland defence will have quite a rough time of preventing him from finding the net.
