El-Hadji Ba Heads For France.

El-Hadji Ba will join French Ligue One side Bastia on a season-long loan.

Claude Makelele was interested in having Ba in his side and the player will go straight into the squad that faces Marseille in their first game of he season.

Ba failed to impress after joining the Black Cats from Le Harve last year despite scoring on his debut, but in total he made just three appearances for the club.

This time around he has done enough to impress Gus Poyet, but the boss would like him to go out on loan and get some valuable first team experience.
