Sunderland have recalled midfielder Billy Knott from his loan spell with league two outfit Wycombe Wanderers.
The 21-year-old has made 23 appearances for the Chairboys since joining at the end of August and in that time he has managed to find the net twice.
His original deal was scheduled to come to an end on 29 January.
A statement on the Wycombe official website read: ‘The club would like to thank Billy for his efforts during his time with the Wanderers and wish him every success for the future.’
