According to the Daily Mirror, Big Sam is annoyed with the player due to his attitude at the club.
Lens joined the club in the summer at a cost of £9 million, but has proved to be something of a disappointment since his arrival.
The paper goes on to say that Lens refused to go out and warm up with the rest of the substitutes during the game with Watford a couple of weeks ago.
He also appears to have an attitude on the training field and Alladyce has made it quite clear that he expects full 100% commitment from all players as they try to save the season and their Premiership status.
Lens ha struggled to command a place in the side of late, the last time he started a game was in late October in the derby with Newcastle, which is disappointing seeing much was expected from the player.
