Could Sam be interested in a Swiss defender come January? The Sun seems to think so.
There is a little snippet in the Sun‘s rumours column which says that Sam Allardyce is interested in signing FC Sion’s Leo Lacroix.
Big Sam is looking interested in the Swiss star and is thinking about making a £4 million move.
The 23 year old defender would boost Sunderland’s defence which could be weakened if the injury that John O’Shay picked up in the derby on Sunday proves to be serious.
Sion look resigned to the fact that Lacroix will be gone when the transfer window opens, but Sam will have to do battle with Crystal Palace and Leicester City to get his man.
