Connor Wickham is looking forward to the FA Cup tie against Leeds United on Sunday.
Wickham was on loan at the Championship club last season where he made five appearances and scored once before being recalled to help out in Sunderland’s quest to stay in the top flight.
And Wickham is excited about lining up against his old team mates in what will be the first FA Cup tie between the two clubs since the 1973 final.
Speaking to safc.com, the 21 year old said: “It is a draw that everyone can really look forward to and I spent time on loan there last year so it will be good to play against them.
“It`s not going to be an easy game but because of the way we`re playing we will head into the game with plenty of confidence.”
