1) 4th Round FA Cup, a welcome break from the misery other wise known as the Premier League. Is this a welcome distraction?

I think it is, and – weather/pitch permitting – at LEAST it gives us a chance to see some football and actually talk about football for a change! After all that is what I know the vast majority want us to do, and be able to do!

The way I see it, for us anyway, is that ANY win can help breed confidence and as, even as the home side, we do not really have ‘anything to lose’, apart from extra money, we can play with freedom of knowing the pressure is more on you guys. So, if we get that win as a certain supermarket would say ‘every little helps’ in both ways.

2) How are things for you supporting Pompey at the moment?

It is tough for us all, everyday it seems to bring something else – either an extension of what is already going on or a brand new crisis to make things even worse…

I would not wish this on any football fan, and I would hope that any other genuine football fan could say the same – regardless as to who they support.

3) Who do you hold responsible for the cash crisis at your club?

You know what I could go on all day long about this, and this has been discussed at great lengths by so many of us so many times – so, we can continue to point the finger at people but will it make any difference?

Nope.

So, all we can do is look forward, at the moment the guys here do not seem to be able to sort things out -and that is ALL that I want doing now is for them, or someone that can, to sort things out and give us some stability, long-term stability at that, as we are dying here!

4) How will it be resolved? Are you worried you could go bust sooner rather than later?

I have never found it funny that any club suffers as I have already known what it was like for a club to be in crisis with our previous and would not wish this on anyone – this current crisis seems the worst of the lot, due to the sheer amounts of money we owe and the lack of collateral that we have.

So, in all honesty I am struggling to see a way out at times, and that devastates me that I might lose what is in many ways ‘my life’…

5) We have been linked to Dindane? Would you be sad to see him move or glad?

To be honest I would not really care if he went, so I guess there is you answer? ‘Maybe’ he could be a Didier Drogba character where he gets better in time, but we do not have the time – or money – to find out.

6) How do you think Sunderland have done so far this season?

You started off really well and I though ‘hello, they could be in for one hell of a season’ but you are now among the worst sides, form wise, at the moment and looking at the table earlier I saw you were only 5pts or so outside the bottom 3!

7) We meet again at Fratton Park in the league but do you want a cup run for financial reasons or for form reasons?

Both really, whatever money we can bring in helps – then again the cup run and win cost us a shed load more than it gained us last time, although I would ‘hope’ that contracts are not so lucrative this time round, supposing we pulled off another great cup win!!!!

As said above any win is a bonus at the moment, so if we can get this in the cup I would take it. Although if you offered me a cup run/cup final win over league survival I would, as much as I would love us to win the FA cup against all the odd, bite your arm off! As financially we CANNOT afford to go down…

8) Prediction?

We are the home side but I would still think you would be favourites to win. Either way lets settle it on the day though and hopefully give us something to cheer, the blues to march into round 5!
