Swans Not Ready To Give Up On Ki.

Swansea City are not going to see Aston Villa target Ki Sung-Yueng leave the club without a fight.

Villa manager Paul Lambert is confident that he will get his man, but Swans chairman Huw Jenkins wants the South Korean, who was on loan at Sunderland last season, to stay in Wales.

25 year old Ki has one year left on his contract and is currently on an extended break after being on World Cup duty.

Jenkins told reporters: “Garry [Monk] has spoken to him already, but it`s important that they have another chat and we will decide on where we go after that. Ideally, we would like to tie Ki up on a long-term contract.”
