Sunderland have signed Hearts Goalkeeper Craig Gordon for a club record 9 million pounds.
Gordon has signed a five year deal after passing a medical earlier today.
The Scotland International is Roy Keane`s 7th signing this summer and will take the total he has shelled out to around 26 million, with rumour`s suggesting a possibility of signing Mido this may well go over 30 million mark.
In my opinion Sunderland have signed a superb player here and with the amount of money they have spent this season are showing that they mean business.

Fair play,Im a Villa fan and Im gutted.
Yeah but Sorensen is a top class keeper anyway just a same about his current injury. hopefuly he won’t be out to long for you.
Good luck against Spuds on Saturday Id love it if you stuffed them.
Niall Quinn was right to have a go at West Ham and Portsmouth for inflating players prices…… oh wait didnt he spend £6 million on Kieran ******** Richardson and £10 million on a Scottish goalie? God I hope you go back down where you and that scumbag manager of yours belong.
Nice to know someones jealous of our great chairman. Nail Quinn’s taxi cabs are the best !
We never wanted him anyway, he’s *****! 😉 lol Seriously tho I’m gutted, we’re gonna end up with Carson and he’s crap!
As a Hearts season ticket holder it pains me to see Gordon go. Gordon is a self confessed Hearts fan brought up through the Tynecastle ranks and always showed a great self confidence and belief. Also a player with excellent attitude and a future captain of any side he plays for. Sunderland hae got themselves a goalkeeping great in the making and Hearts have got themselves a lot of much need cash. Good Luck Craig Gordon – a true Jambo.
Hope hes not fit for the game on saturday
