Steve Bruce will get a third crack at Sunderland this season after his Hull side beat Brighton 2-1 in the FA Cup at the KC Stadium tonight.
Sunderland will travel to Hull for the quarter final tie and they will be looking to do better than the two meetings that the two clubs have had in the league with Hull winning both home and away.
Curtis Davies scored a scrappy goal to put Hull in front after 14 minutes and then made it 2-0 on 6 minutes when Robert Koren’s free kick took a deflection off Keith Andrews.
Leo Ulloa gave Brighton a bit of hope when he headed home on 69 minutes but it was too little, too late and now the Black Cats are Hull bound.

It was always going to be Hull at home, surely we can’t lose to them 3 times?
Wonder how many red cards we get this time?
If we play with 11 on the pitch there is no reason why we cant win
