Sunderland defender Phil Bardsley is looking forward to the new season after overcoming a Knee cartilage injury.
Bardsley had surgery at the end of last season and is now raring to go after making a full recovery.
Bardsley told safc.com ” I`m raring to go the operation was straight forward really and I`ve had done some running and stuff. There`s no problem with my knee, I`ve had my rest and I`m looking forward to training.”

That`s great news that our first choice right back is fit and ready to play now we just need Keane to strengthen the squad for the coming season.
