Tonight sees The Uriah Rennie Show travel to London to entertain a Loftus Road crowd, with QPR and Sunderland co-starring.

Vital Quotes:

Keano on resting Yorkie: ‘Dwight was under the weather, but he wouldn’t use that as an excuse, he gave away one or two sloppy passes.

‘Since Dwight’s come to the club he’s played in every game.

‘He’s 35 now and it’s hard, especially with the games coming up. It’s a balancing act.’

QPR Team News:

The phenomenaly named Dextor Blackstock is a doubt after getting a bash in the face in QPR’s defeat to Coventry. Ginger minger Steve Lomas is an injury doubt while Bircham, Ainsworth and Kanyuka are definitely out.

Player to watch: Kevin Gallen

The 72-year old is fit and ready to play and no doubt ready to score against us. It’s rumoured that one of the monkey’s from Stanley Kubrick’s ‘Space Odyssey’ was not a man in a suit but actually Kevin Gallen’s brother, genuinely from the dawn of man. Gallen was due to star in it himself but was too busy having trials with tonight’s opponents. Will no doubt score against us tonight, simply because the old bastard always does.

Sunderland Team News:

New signing Martin Fulop will take a place on the bench following his signing from Spurs. Daryl Murphy and Chris Brown are still injured so Connolly and Elliot are expected to play, though the formation is anyone’s guess.

After his shocking showing at Wolves on Friday, Dwight Yorke is expected to make way for the sturdier Graham Kavanagh, who will have Grant Leadbitter ahead of him.

Kenny Cunningham and Stephen Wright remain long term absentees.

Player to watch: Graham Kavanagh

Impressed after coming on away at Wolves, adding a bit more bite and composure to a sloppy midfield. We are yet to see the former Wigan man’s best form, and on his day is capable of really bossing the centre of the park.

Match Prediction:

I’m going to be optimistic and say a 2-1 win. No real reason and not based on any educated reasoning, just because i’m in a good mood. Elliot and Connolly to score. And Kevin Gallen, obviously.
