Sunderland’s South Korean striker Ji Dong-Won has joined Bundesliga strugglers Augsburg on-loan.
The 21 year-old South Korean international has made a limited impact since signing for Sunderland from K-League side Chunnam Dragons in 2011.
Signed by Steve Bruce, Ji made all of his 19 Barclays Premier League appearances for the Black Cats last term, with just two starts.
This season has seen Ji fail to feature under Martin O’Neill and the 18-cap Korean international will now look to help Augsburg avoid relegation.
Augsburg sit in the Bundesliga relegation places in 17th with just nine points from 17 games.
