Egyptian winger Ahmed Elmohamady has returned to Hull City on-loan after briefly being re-called by Sunderland.

Elmohamady, 25, had been re-called to Sunderland earlier in the month to provide cover for Martin O’Neill’s depleted squad, but has joined Louis Saha in leaving the club today.

The former ENPPI winger returns to npower Championship outfit Hull City on-loan for the remainder of the season – the club where he had made 23 appearances already.

Hull City broke the news via Twitter this afternoon:

@hullcityteam: ‘Ahmed Elmohamady has rejoined the club on loan until the end of the season from Sunderland. Welcome back @Elmo_27 #hcafc’

Good luck, Elmo.
