Duncan Watmore conjured up three goals this afternoon for Sunderland as they beat Newcastle 6-0 in a ‘behind closed doors’ friendly at the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats’ England Under-21 star was obviously keen to give manager Sam Allardyce something to chew over before the team are next in action.
The game was arranged to give both sides chances to access some of their players as both clubs don’t see any action this weekend.
Also on the score sheet was Steven Fletcher who netted twice and Jck Rodwell supplied the other.
Players such as Jordan Pickford, Dame N`Doye and Jan Kirchhof managed to get a good work out.
