The papers today claimed that Lee Cattermole is not happy with Steve Bruce’s decision to name John O’Shea the new captain of Sunderland AFC.
However, Cattermole wore the skippers armband against Arminia Bielefeld today in pre-season, maybe a sign that Bruce wants to keep Cattermole as his focal midfielder and leader of the squad.
The newspaper reports suggest that Kenny Dalglish is interested in Cattermole for £10m to increase his English contingency for Liverpool.
Hopefully, Sunderland will keep hold of Cattermole as he is seen to be an important part of the hungry team that Bruce is building this summer.

So if Liverpoo want him for 10 you will demand 15+? 😛 Wouldn’t blame ya if you did. He’s still quite young and he comes at an English premium.
Wont improve Liverpool so you can keep him, would only warm the bench.
