Sunderland target Danny Graham has re-buffed an approach from former club Middlesbrough and is set for a Sunderland medical, according to reports.
Graham, 27, was subject of a £5m bid from his first club Middlesbrough this morning, but it is understood that the Gateshead-born striker has turned down the chance to return to Teesside.
That news leaves Sunderland in pole position to tie up a deal for the former Watford and Carlisle United hitman.
According to numerous sources in the North East and Sky Sports News, Swansea City have accepted Sunderland’s £5m offer for Graham who is now set for a medical at the Academy of Light.
As soon as there is an update on this deal or any others, Vital Sunderland will bring it to you.
