Gomez Set To Go Back To Wigan?

Sunderland`s Jordi Gomez is interesting Wigan Athletic, the club that let him go to Sunderland.

In 2014, Gus Poyet brought Gomez to Sunderland on a Bosman move, but after the first season was over at the Stadium of Light, the player lost his way somewhat and only made six appearances before Blackburn Rovers took him off to Ewood Park on a loan deal.

Wigan were promoted last season after winning the League One title and according to reports they are keen to re-sign their former player, providing something can be done about his wages.
