Giacchermi To Stay And Fight With Sunderland

Emmanuel Giacchermi says that he is not planning to leave Sunderland during this January’s transfer window despite being linked with a move back to Juventus.

The Italian international is rumoured to be unsettled on Wearside and he has been linked with a move back to the club he left in the summer.

But the 28 year old insists that he wants to stay and help Sunderland get out of trouble and then assess his future at the end of the season.

‘I feel good in England, even if things could go better,’ he told Radio DeeJay.

‘We will see in May what will happen, but for the moment the most important thing is getting safety.’
