Gardner Interests Bruce

Craig Gardner, 24, had a good season for Birmingham although they did slide down into the Championship.

He scored a healthy 10 goals for Brum in a hard season and even scored the second goal against Sunderland at St. Andrews a few months ago.

The deal for Jordan Henderson leaving for Liverpool seems to be gathering pace and Gardner could be seen as a good replacement.

The price for Gardner is quoted to be around £8m but knowing Bruce and Quinn they will look to get him for a lower price.
