Sunderland have had to bid farewell to Jack Colback after the midfielder agreed to join Newcastle United.
The Black Cats have had a new deal for the player on the table, but the one time Newcastle fan has decided to leave, snubbing the attentions of both West Ham and Aston Villa.
The Black Cats are believed to have offered Colback the chance to more than double his previous wages, but it seems like he had his mind set on a move away from the club he has been at since the age of ten.

Poor Newcastle but well done to Colback, he deserves a good payout before his negative play is recognised by the rest of the footballing world. He will give you 100% of what he has Newcastle which is more than either of our clubs can say about many of our players over the last few years.
