Bruce To “Rescue” Bardsley?

Phil Bardsley almost certainly has no future at Sunderland under Paolo Di Canio, however former Black Cats boss Steve Bruce could “ride to his rescue”.

The Scottish international invoked the wrath of Di Canio when he was pictured crashed out on the dance floor following a drunken night out, this breach of club rules saw him read the riot act by the Italian and he was dropped.

Bruce, according to The Daily Mirror, is looking to be reunited with the right back at his current club Hull in what has been described as a “cut price deal.”
