Bruce To Come Knocking For Fletcher?

Here’s a good one, Hull boss Steve Bruce is about to make moves that he hopes will result in Steven Fletcher going to Hull City.

A report in the Sun claims that Bruce will come for Fletcher with the cash that he got for Shame Long from Southampton when they flogged him for £12 million.

Bruce wants new firepower up front now that his side are in Europe, somebody to partner Nikica Jelavic and he believes that Fletcher is that man.

An £8 Million bid was placed for Fletcher last season but that did not tempt the Black Cats, so they spent £8 million on Long instead from West Brom, now they have taken a £4 million profit on the striker.

The Sun says that Sunderland may indeed be keen to offload Fletcher for the right price, especially with the Fabio Borini saga looking like it will go their way.

And of course, the Scot could be tempted to make the move because of their European football adventures.
