Liam Bridcutt looked back on the hard fought win over Leeds United in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday and is hoping that round four will see them drawn at home.

Bridcutt was back in action and played the full 90 minutes of the game which a single goal from Patrick van Aanholt.

That goal was enough to put Sunderland into the draw for the fourth round and Bridcutt is not fussy who the Black Cats get drawn against, so long as the game is at the Stadium of Light.

Speaking to safc.com Bridcutt said: “It is always a tough game in the FA Cup and we knew that heading into it, so we`re pleased with the win and we`re all looking forward to the next round.

“It was important to get the win but we know that it should have been more comfortable, so we`re a little disappointed with our performance in the second half and we need to be better.”
