Sunderland manager Roy Keane believes his side away form will improve sooner rather than later.

Sunderland`s away form is the worst in the Premier league with the Blackcats only acquiring two points away from home all season.

Keane is hoping his side can take some of their away form on their travels with them.

Keane told safc.com ‘We hope that first away win is close. We have got to have that belief and we do.

‘Our away performance of late, particularly in the last month or two, have been better but we need to that into results.’

“Our home form has been good and it has given us a chance”

‘We have a tough game a Portsmouth, who are a strong team, but we will go down there in good spirits and hopefully give them a game.

‘The fans have been great home and away it would be nice to give those who make the long trip to Portsmouth something to cheer about.’

Vital Sunderland Says

Well let`s face it we are due a win away from home sooner or later. Maybe by some minor miracle we can get our first win this weekend.
