Arca Still No Go

Julio Arca is against struggling to be fit, this time in advance of the match against Aston Villa.

The player has been cruelly sidelined due to a toe fracture and has not started a game since the win against Middlesbrough despite working hard to make a series of comebacks.

At the moment my chances of playing look slim but my toe does feel a lot better. I’m hoping to do some running tomorrow and then maybe return to training before the end of the week.

‘If I can do that and everything is OK, I might be on the bench against Villa, we’ll wait and see.

‘It’s a massive game for both clubs, if we don’t start winning the pressure will really build.”
