Its looking likely that Sam Allardyce will be fielding a very young side when Sunderland take on Arsenal in the FA Cup at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

And according to the Daily Mirror that means that young, highly rated keeper Jordan Pickford will make his debut for the Black Cats.

Big Sam is having to use his youngsters so that senior players can take a much needed break from the struggling side’s fight to stay in the Premier League because of the hectic schedule over Christmas and New Year.

On top of that, Sunderland must play Arsenal on Saturday, Swansea on Wednesday and then travel to Tottenham for a lunchtime kick off next Saturday and this has left Big Sam fuming.
