Academy graduate Tom Beadling has today headed to Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic on a loan spell until the end of the season.
The 22 year old is yet to make a senior appearance for the club but has been rising through our ranks since the age of eight.
He has taken in a two game loan spell with Bury previously and he’s been in and around our first team groups over the last few years.
The defender signed a new one year deal last summer and has featured often for our Under 23 side so now is a good opportunity for him to step up another level and impress.
Speaking to the Official Site, the player explained it was all about game time.
‘Delighted to get the deal done and join the club, I am looking to play first-team football, so this will give me a great platform for that. I can play centre half or in the middle of the park. A big part of my game is to get on the ball as much as possible, so hopefully the fans will get to see that from me.’
