West Ham 3 Sunderland 1

Another trip to the capital resulted in the same outcome for the Blackcats (no points) and left them still awaiting their first away win of the season.

Sunderland manager Roy Keane must be wondering what his team have to do to win a game away from home this season.

West ham scored first through Carlton Cole Halford failed to block McCartney`s cross and Cole was on hand to bury his shot past Gordon.

Sunderland then replied in the second half though the exceptional Jones.
Leadbitter`s corner was centred perfectly for Jones to out jump everyone and head home.

Sunderland then camped in the West Ham half with attack after attack,
Leadbitter`s pile driver of a shot was tipped on to the post by Green

West Ham then got a lucky break Solano`s shot hit the post and came back out only for it to hit Gordon`s foot and go in.

Then with Sunderland pushing forward for the equaliser Bellamy wrapped it up with a goal in injury time.

Match Comment
The game at Upton Park was one that many expected us to at least getting some thing out of it and we should have.
The score line was not a true refection of the game we dominated for must of the game and dissevered all three points but football has funny way of kicking you in the teeth especially if you`re a Sunderland supporter.

Now we look to the Fulham game and hopefully three points.
