England secured a vital victory in their U21 group stages as they won 3-0 against a very poor Lithuania team this afternoon.
Welbeck broke the seal with a very neat finish from the edge of the box with a curling effort to beat the keeper.
The young Man Utd striker, who joined on loan for the season, then became the provider for Albrighton who made it two with a brilliant through ball.
Jordan Henderson played in midfield and also added an assist to his growing achievements as he set up another Sunderland player with a neat flick on to Welbeck in the second half.
The third and final goal was made in Sunderland (well not offically) with a classy backheel from the impressive Hendo, which allowed Welbeck to add to his England U21 record with a simple finish.
Both players were a joy to watch at times and proves that England do have a future with the youngsters with impressive displays from Wilshere and Albrighton who came on as a sub later in the second half.
Well done lads!

Henderson is going to be a real star for us. I hope he continues to make steady progress for both club and country.
